China has developed drones capable of attacking the enemy in flocks

After the conflict between Russia and Ukraine, unmanned aerial vehicles began to gain popularity around the world, becoming the main force on the battlefield and acting in the support role of the sixth generation of fighters. These unmanned vehicles are capable of amplifying the combat power of a single sixth generation fighter (according to the generally accepted classification - the fifth generation - ed.), which allows it to demonstrate the effectiveness of an entire squadron.

However, the requirements for such unmanned vehicles are very high, since they must have improved characteristics of maneuverability, stealth, flight range and payload compared to fifth generation fighters in order to accompany the sixth generation fighters. In addition to the stealth function, they must have powerful information processing capabilities, since the sixth generation fighters usually perform "decapitation" operations that require a surprise attack on the enemy.

According to the Chinese publication iFeng, at an air show in China in 2023, where more than 2000 unmanned aerial vehicles will participate in the flight program, China will demonstrate a whole series of new drones, which, among other things, will be able to work in huge "flocks" of several dozen, and, according to some experts, hundreds of drones. Even though this is just a demonstration, given the nature of the airshow, it is of great combat value. This demonstration confirms that China already has mature technology for combat in "flocks" of unmanned vehicles and is getting closer to realizing the function of unmanned vehicles for the sixth generation of fighter jets.
